I left Bourne Grammar School in 2003 with some very average GCSE results. I worked as plumber for 3 years before joining the family business Ravencourt Ltd. I started in the warehouse and then sales, new product development and eventually became Managing Director in 2014. Under my leadership the business grew by 400%. While running Ravencourt I began to educate myself. A passion and desire for continuous improvement for myself and others around me has been a golden thread running through my life. In 2025 I was awarded an MBA from Cranfield University. Studying for an MBA while running a business was one of the most challenging times of my life, but it also reminded me how important having fun is. A team with smiles on their faces is capable of great things! I used my MBA to plan the succession of leadership at Ravencourt and the company is now growing consistently under a fantastic management team while I occupy a Non Executive Director role.
